Update news about the Samsung Galaxy S5 has the smart phone community on the edge of their seats readily waiting for the official release date of the new Samsung Galaxy S5.
An editor of popular news site “Mobile Review” has stated on Twitter that the official release date will be broadcast on 23rd February 2014 before the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, although the release date is estimated at April of this year.
Although the tweet does not offer much more information other than when the release date will be announced, fans are already getting an idea in their head about what the phone will look like.
According to popular Samsung fan community “Sammy Today” – the United States Patent and Trademark Office have already approved a new design patent for Samsung which features a Samsung smartphone without any buttons on the front of the phone.
Sources state that some features of the Samsung Galaxy S5 could include a 1440×2560 resolution, longer lasting battery life and a 5 to 5.2 inch size screen.
With recent reports of the Android version 4.3 containing multiple bugs such as battery drain and multiple issues with Wi-fi which cause the smart phone to randomly disconnect from trusted networks and mark them as “unstable” – hopefully the Samsung Galaxy S5 will come with Android KitKat 4.4 or higher installed.
